APG - an ABNF Parser Generator - version 6.0 is now available for downloading. APG and the parsers it generates are recursive-descent parsers with backtracking, syntactic and semantic predicates and prioritized-choice disambiguation. Written entirely in ANSI C for easy porting to multiple operating systems, its parsers are fast and small and should be well-suited to embedded software applications. It generates parsers in both C and C++. A variety of sample applications illustrate its suitability and ease of use for Internet protocols and compiler front ends.
