Coast to Coast Research, Inc. is a supporter of the Open Source concept and community. Its two primary missions are the creation of original and innovative Open Source algorithms and helping others through its consulting services.
APG - an ABNF Parser Generator - version 5.0 is now available for downloading. APG 5.0 and the parsers it generates are recursive-descent parsers with partially-predictive parsing tables, prioritized-choice disambiguation, syntactic and semantic predicates and backtracking. Written entirely in ANSI C for easy porting to multiple operating systems, its parsers are fast and small and should be well-suited to embedded software applications. It generates parsers in both C and C++. Sample applications to IPv6, URI, SDP, SIP and MEGACO specifications illustrate its suitability and ease of use for Internet protocols.
APG version 5.0.1 is a successful port to the GNU/Linux operating system. A new, minor version has been created which will build successfully under both Windows and GNU/Linux.
